A lo largo de estos meses he introducido para los muy diversos temas que he tratado hasta el momento el uso de blogs -o bitácoras- como una herramienta que debemos tener en cuenta a la hora de planificar nuestra presencia en internet. Ahora que los asiduos lectores de esta sección conocen el concepto subliminalmente, hablaremos abiertamente de la ultima revolución en la red.
Podemos hablar de blogs en la red española desde el año 2001/02, siendo el boom en el año 2003. Nacidos en un principio como páginas personales donde se ordenaban cronológicamente las opiniones del autor., su sencillez de uso al alcance de cualquiera y la posibilidad de crear conversaciones (a través de los comentarios de los visitantes), unido a la facilidad de indexación de los contenidos por los buscadores (Google ha lanzado un buscador únicamente para blogs) han convertido al ‘juguete’ de moda en la red de un centenar de personas, a una herramienta de marketing y generadoras de contenidos en boca de todas las empresas. Sólo miraremos al pasado en esta introducción, hablemos de cómo los blogs pueden ofrecernos soluciones a nuestra presencia web, además recomiendo releer el artículo del mes pasado donde tratabamos los blogs como herramienta de marketing para completar estas líneas.
El blog como gestor web. Las bitácoras han relevado de un plumazo las arquitecturas basadas en los famosos phpnukes cuya rapida ascensión como gestores de portales fue comparable a su caida en picado por las graves deficiencias de seguridad, complejidad de uso, y costos de mantenimiento y recursos. Los blogs son gestores de contenido extremadamente flexibles y ligeros, fácilmente modificables y/o ampliables gracias al código abierto, construidos bajo las premisas de la nueva internet 2.0: XHTML, CSS, Tags (folksonomias), RSS y abrazados a los estándares de la W3C. Lo que los convierten en un esqueleto perfecto para construir nuestra web independientemente de su complejidad o temática. Contar con un programador a nuestro lado será lo único que necesitemos para adaptarlo a nuestras necesidades.
El blog como vinculador de conversaciones. Conversaciones, esa es la palabra clave sobre la que se asienta el giro argumental de los blogs en la red. Iniciar un blog supone entablar conversaciones uno a uno con los lectores, lectores con un perfil social definido en la red, altamente segmentados y en la mayoría de los casos poseedores de un blog. ¿En qué se diferencia de un foro por ejemplo? Ademas de la base que los sustenta, el foro vincula una comunidad entorno a temas en común donde los usuarios abren temas bajo una jerarquía, el blog es un elemento con identidad propia dentro de la red, que interactúa con otros blogs y las conversaciones tangenciales que éstos generan; el blog no deja de ser un diario personal (independientemente de lo formal que esté escrito o la temática) donde los usuarios leen opiniones y aportan la suya propia. Estas conversaciones generan un repositorio de información disponible en la red y que podemos ampliar siguiendo el rastro de blog en blog. Entrar en un blog no sólo supone leer las opiniones, sino conocer su identidad en la red y otros blogs con los que interactúa, y a los que podemos acceder de link en link. Una enredadera textual repleta de información.
Periodismo 2.0. 11-M en Madrid, Huracán Katrina, 11-J en Londres, Elecciones, etc. El pulso de las noticias se ha desplazado a los blogs. Noticias sucedidas desde el ámbito local actualizadas a la par que las agencias de noticias junto a fotos y videos tomados con dispositivos móviles (el escritor de blog es un usuario always on) está destapando una nueva forma de presentar las noticias de cara al público, ya no sólo por la participación del lector, sino por la fiabilidad que desprende el medio al tratarse de opiniones personales fuera del control de grupos de comunicación.Un ejemplo excepcional de este nuevo periodismo es el diario electrónico www.20minutos.es, con 2 millones de lectores al día y un eslogan que lo resume todo: ‘El primer diario hecho con los lectores’ o el mismo proyecto pero amparado por Recoletos y con edición impresa: www.quediario.com. Los medios tradicionales se han apresurado a incluir de mejor o peor manera los blogs en sus versiones digitales, tanto medios impresos: http://elmundo.es/elmundo/blogs.html, http://blogs.prisacom.com/, como cadenas de television:http://blogs.telecinco.es/. Espero que esta publicación tome nota de estas pistas tan jugosas.

last year I visited some family in Mcalester Oklahoma and had the good luck of finding the Hiway Inn off of the George Nigh expressway. I am glad I did because to date it has been the best hotel stay in Mcalester. I highly recommend it to anyone driving through the Oklahoma area.
